I have been an artist at heart my whole life. As a child my dad would take me fishing and I would make sculptures on the beach instead. Because I do not excel in any traditional art medium my focus has always been on finding ways to let my creativity out. From 1985 to 1990, I was a drummer in an ever evolving alt rock band (from “Rhetoric” to “Big Box of Nines”). From 1991 to 2022, I was the founder and president of Resource Revival: a small manufacturing company repurposing bike parts, auto parts, computer parts, and other materials. Now, in 2024, with Preserve, I am beginning a ten year project: creating and disseminating at least one unique edition of art every year.
